You can't save files attached to emails.

This statement sticks out for me. My wife has a 3GS and she can save any file attached to an email. So either Apple has somehow removed this feature from newer iphones, or your statement is false.

You  have to use the system apps that the OEM wants you to use, such as music or camera apps.

I went to the app store and found MP3 players that do not use itunes (example, EZMP3 Player Pro), and many camera apps as well. Maybe I am misunderstanding what you mean by this statement?

Or for browser, you have to use Safari.

I found CHROME in the apps store for iphone.

No customization at all.

Okay, in my wife's iphone there is a settings menu where you can customize all sorts of things. You can create your own folders for apps, set any image for your home screen, you can even customize the vibration patterns and assign them to specific callers. How cool is that?

When I ask for advice on making a decision on choosing a product (phone, console, handheld, computer,...) I am never sure if I can trust the information I get. Even legit sites seem to give misinformation or coloured opinions. I guess that is why I always double check the information before making any decisions. Your statements have actually helped me to learn more about the iphone.

There is indeed customization in IOS if you consider changing vibration patterns and wallpapers as customization. You can change the brightness or sound settings too.

That Chrome browser is useless, there is no point in using it over Safari. I've already said that in my original post but probably you didn't read it. There is a huge speed difference and it will always be like that because of the restrictions on third party browsers. If you like how Chrome look you can use it over Safari, I guess.

You can't change most of the system apps, my apologies there. Of course there are many camera apps that have various effects and so on, my apologies for saying that. Keyboard and messaging application are a few of the things you can't change. If I am still wrong on that please correct me. Though a simple Google search tells me that you can't change anything without jailbreaking your device. You have to jailbreak it to change the colors it seems: http://www.ehow.com/how_5920783_change-sms-text-message-bubbles.html . Customization at its best.

On my friends Iphone 4 I can't save the email attachments and here is another link that says the same http://www.iphoneforums.net/forum/jailbreak-applications-tweaks-70/ios-5-save-email-attachments-tweak-31124/ Maybe it was just because I am new to the phone.
