CrazzyMan, I don't know if you're being deliberately obtuse or genuinely delusional.
EVEN WITHOUT WEEKLY WW SALES DATA FOR SM64, WE CAN TAKE THE DATA WE DO HAVE AND MAKE EXTREMELY WELL-FOUNDED ESTIMATIONS. For instance, the TOTAL sales of JAP SM64 and NA/EUR SM64 are known; the weekly sales of JAP SM64 are known; and the total and weekly sales of JAP, NA, and EUR SMG sales are known. Based on this, we can say that TOTAL sales of JAP SMG are ALREADY as bad as a share of WW as SM64 EVER was, and getting worse; and therefore SMG will do BETTER WW than your JAP-ONLY graph would indicate.
I AM NOT IGNORING JAP SALES TRENDS. YOU ARE IGNORING NA AND EUR SALES TRENDS.
My "purpose in this thread" is to discuss SALES, not "OMG casuals don't buy REAL games".
