Well I think the real issue is the lack of loyalty from Platinum Games to their fans. It wasn't Nintendo or Wii fans that made Bayonetta a success, yet they get the sequel?

I'm gonna presume this is a timed exclusive and the HD twins are going to get an improved version. If this stays a Wii U exclusive then Platinum Games is going to lose a lot of fans.

 

I never understand this mentality. This is like the same shit people say about MoHun. 

You are a fan of the game and what does loyalty have anything to do with what console it is on? The loyalty from Platinum Games to their fans is to make the sequel of the beloved game. If you want to play the sequel, buy the system the game is on to play it. period.

Also, this is a game on a next gen system and there is no guarantee people who enjoyed the first game on PS360 would buy the PS4 or 720. Developing the sequel on Wii U is as good as developing it on PS4 or 720.

 

Kind of a different story. The PSP had plenty of Monster Hunter games. If Capcom is really motivated to bring the series to superior hardware the 3DS is the obvious choice because the Vita is a failure.

I think the game would sell best on PS360. But Platinum Games went with Wii U because they want Nintendo's support. We'll just have to wait and see what happens I suppose.
