S3 has a quad core processor. And iOS 6 being better than Android Jelly Bean 4.1.1, well, thats a matter of taste.
And I've seen people upgrading from their iphone 3GS or 4 to Android phones or windows mobile phones, because of a) windows connectivity, or b) high costumization (android) and "jailbreak" without being illegal.
