Is it just me $60 for a Wii U game is not too expensive.

Erm, there are still Steam games at $60 too (for example Skyrim, Dishonered, Black ops 2) for a digital download only. Steam has been getting slightly better with new releases for $50. Still a lot considering their cutting out the entire retail distribution channel and no console fees. The reason I never buy anything that's not on sale from Steam. There are also plenty of $50 and $30 titles for the HD consoles.
I hope Sony and MS don't see this price correction as a reason to raise theirs to $70 per game.

MS and Sony can increase it to $100 if they want. If the market cannot sustain the price. The games would drop even faster than they drop now merely weeks after they come out. This gen the 360/PS3 games have dropped in price much faster than ps2/xbox days. A month and half later the game is down to $25-30 bucks. So let's see what they do.
