Point is that you said 3.62 million which is 1.42 million more than is possible.    And I get that it didn't sell as well as the PS RE titles.  I never said otherwide.  I merely stated it sold well given the size of the console install base.  Which it did.   And given your insistance that 1.6 million is such a poor figure, how do you account for it only selling 2.2 million on the even better selling PS2 as compared ot the ealrier PS RE titles?

You're hitting yourself with your own debate logic.

As for how well Bayonetta 2 does on Wii U?  Depends on when it comes, how it's marketed, what's the genre competition.   You know, things that matter far more so than the fact the first title appeared on a different console makers console.

I do not see whether Capcom says these are shipped or sold at retail so that I do not know.

You are not getting what I am saying. Over 1mill in sales is good for most games to break profit. Yet, a game that is capable of selling 10million does not WANT to sell 1million. Understand? 1.6million is a huge step DOWN from 4million. This is obviously showing something was wrong with the game or it's release to the developer. The point of making a sequel to an existing IP is that you want to tap into that fanbase that has dedicated themselves to it, as well as expand it. Selling less than half of what a previous game sold is NOT doing that. PS2 sales of the game were just as bad, but I could argue if it had just stayed exclusive to PS in the first place they would have sold the appropriate amount they did with half the effort.
