I'd say it's a positive sign, though one to watch.
Have to keep in mind the huge confluence of events that made it popular. Namely it's suddenly a "Big" name star... and coincidentally, said stars 5th anniversary of birth.
So, there is some worry that it was mostly people who just wanted an interactive Miku product... and won't really follow up on the vita, or be indicative of other big software.
