I don't think I understand your question. A game is good to me regardless of violence. If AC was the same game but had sword slashes like PoP I'd be just as content, probably even more (since I don't enjoy graphic depictions of killing). In other words my enjoyment of a game rests on everything but violence and sex, so I enjoyed AC but not for the reasons  you think.
