Uncharted 2 should've been in the Top 3. Such an amazing game that influenced so many games.

This is about games that changed the world. Not what your favorite game is. There are literally doznes if not hundreds of games more important than Uncharted. And considering Uncharted wasn't the first big game to popularize any of the things it does well, it would make no sense to be in this type of list at all, let alone top 3...

Anyway as much of a cult classic it is, Ico has no business even being on this list, let alone in the top 10. Very few games were influenced by it. I also don't understand the indie game love. The only one that makes sense is minecraft. And it's influence has more to do with establishing that games can be wildely successful even when self published by a small indie as long as their good, rather than it's actual gameplay. Although I'm sure more and more games will start copying its formula considering how successful it has been.

Also where the hell is call of duty 4. This list is about games that changed the world good or bad. There is no doubt that other than wii sports, call of duty has been the most influential game this generation. Sims should also be higher considering it was the first hugely successful "casual game" that proved anyone could enjoy a game.

Its not my favourite game, its the favourite game of 2009. Consdiering gaming only exists for 30-40 years, the game that got more than 300 GOTY awards and influencing many other games since it release fully well deserves to be on that list.

Again. This isn't a list about GOTY every year. Hence why skyrim, fallout 3, bioshock, etc. aren't in the list. This is about games that have brought something new to the table. Uncharted 2 simply did not do that. Your arguement looks especially bad when you claim it is in the top 3 most influential games. Like perposterious. It's like trying to claim a local bank robbery is a more influential event in world history than world war 2.

Name all these games Uncharted heavily influenced. Remember Uncharted wasn't the game that popularized cinamatics, cover system, third person shooting, third person platforming, treasure hunting etc. The only thing you could claim it popularized is somewhat realistic character chatter, and yes there is a handful of games that did copy that aspect of Uncharted 2. Max Payne 3, LA Noire, Heavy Rain, possibly bioshock infinite.
