Honestly, I don't see solid evidence for EITHER console beating the other...I do think it could go either way...it really all depends on the price cuts and perhaps additional advertising for software.
2007 was close to a tie...but that doesn't mean 360 is dying, or that the PS3's slow software selection was to blame...I don't see much on the plate for either console this year either...nothing that screams a beatdown against the other.
MGS4 on the PS3 is good, but I doubt it'll break records. GTA is big for both consoles...it was grown on the Playstation demographic, but a lot of those have 360s now, plus the 360 has the big DLC for GTA.
I'm pretty sure they'll be going neck-in-neck this year...it wouldn't surprise me if the PS3 passed the 360 by the beginning of next year...but I'm betting it won't.
