1) Excite Truck looked fun (I haven't played it, but have seen all the videos), but nothing replaces F-Zero to me, especially not semi-comedic Exite Truck. I played Sin & Punishment 2 and I found Starfox a better and a more interesting IP in general.

2) RE4, Rogue Leader, Mario Sunshine, Metroid Prime, Twilight Princess (a cube IP, honestly), Eternal Darkness, F-Zero GX, Star Fox Armada (could have been better, skipped it), Viewtiful Joe, RE0, Wind Waker and more. In general it's a much more core platform.

The Wii had a handful of great core games, but not enough as compared to the cube, and certainly not enough for the leading video game platform of the generation..

1) I was eagerly expecting Excite Truck 2 with online play and much more tracks, improved crash physics and destrution. But then we got Excitebots, which bombed miserably... I hope to see an Excite Truck 2 yet.

2) The Gamecube had much less shovelware, thus the catalogue is richier and more core.
