I specifically stated I didn't know the source but it was posted in a GAF forum. When did I state it was "official" or from "Nintendo". I only provided it as GAF tends to have a lot of solid info and everything in it adds up perfectly. however, YMMV.

I suggest for future referencing, we ensure our news posts/information be appropriately noted as "official" (having come from a Nintendo employee or Golin Harris) or "GAF speculation" (even if deductive reasoning sounds 100% plausible).

That extra moment of typing may limit the number of confused posts.

I agree with you and that's why I did state before the picture that I didn't know its source. However, I will add "NOT OFFICIAL" just in case.

I noted it but others may not have been as readily observent.

 

TBH, I cannot find fault with VGC specifically as this kind of minunderstanding is found across all reaches of the Inernet.  But a quality labelling system can help greatly.
