It's important to think of site admins less like software engineers and more like managers at Arby's, I didn't get the job for any special skill, just staying around longer than most without screwing up in some way or quitting.  Heck I'm not even that involved with VGC directly anymore, but Brett doesn't update these tags often because they aren't that meaningful in the grand scheme of things.

Shhh. Once they realize it then they will surely uprise and rebel...

ah, fair point.  Lemme try that again.

It's important to think of site admins less like software engineers and more like Santa.  We see you when you're sleeping, know when you're awake, and know when you've been fapping.  All site admins have this power, but it's tough to say which came first, the job or the ability, as far as I can remember I've always been a site admin and I've always been totally omniscient.  Sure sometimes we appear to make mistakes, or miss some bannable offense, but that's only because we can see the whole picture, and the butterfly wing type effect that would occur if we were to make that ban.  Sometimes you have to leave someone to troll the Vita so they don't get hit by a typhoon in Ohio or Luxembourg.

So in summation:

Site admins are gods among men, and while I could totally fix the site problems I choose not to because I know better than you.
