I am 33 years old so this whole Nintendo hate thing isn't new to me. I was in my early 20's when the Gamecube launched. That entire system was mocked non stop by the PS2 and Xbox crowed for being too "kiddy" etc. The N64 was also considered lame by the gaming community. If you didn't have a Playstation, you were a nerd or a loser. Mario wasn't cool again until the Wii, so if the Wii-U goes down that path, it won't bother me.
As long as Nintendo sells enough games and systems to stay in business, I could care less what people say.
