Also led me to belive that either the game wasnt a lot of time in dev or nintendo just recently gave the sdk and are rushing for a holiday release. But at the same time the consoles versions never hold a really impressive lighting or partcicle effect, specially the later, yet we saw some videos of the wiiu offscreen footage with smooth gameplay and betetr textures, so while it wont outdo the others in effects probably will show itself on par or better in other aspects with pure raw power. Like the DarkSouls port on pc. |
This is exactly what I was pointing out. Power is not an issue with the Wii U. Different technology that devs haven't worked with is the issue.

The priority for devs is to get the PS3/360 versions done as those have a 120 million userbase. The Wii U will have a userbase of 6 million at best by spring 2013, assuming Nintendo sells every system they ship. Guess which platform gets the shaft. At least we're getting AC3 period, other multi-plats like Crysis 3 and Resident Evil 6 aren't happening or if they it's going to be one of those "6-12 months later" type deals. |
RE6 looks like disappointment waiting to happen. Even more than five.
Crysis of any kind will be no loss. Crysis is and always has been a mediorcre FPS and will subpar story. It epitome of graphics fanaticism. The game is hyped and sold purely on its graphics which I am honestly not impressed by. So much recycling over a such a large scale should be a crime on hardware that has more than 256 MB of RAM.
