Why are people bashing wii cause of price?

The Gamecube was at 199 when the PS2 was at 299. That is only a 100 dollar differance and the PS2 had already gained a lot of momentum and had FFX, MGS2, GTA3, and GT3 all launch near the launch on the Xbox and Gamecube. Had Sony not had pinpoint timing with everything, last gen would have been very differant.

Fastforward to now and we had the 360 out for a year, the PS3 and Wii launch to a weak line-up of GeoW on the 360. The PS3 is 600 the 360 is 400 and the Wii is 250. That is a 150 and a 350 dollar price differance between its competitors. With that kind of gap it is nearly inpposable to over come for the PS3 or the 360 no matter what they could do. So the first point of the Wii price complaint is that they have undercut the competitors to a price whichj is acceptable to the casual, which is a bigger adavantage than anything the PS3 or 360 can offer.

The second complaint about the Wii's price is how badly Nintendo is reaming the consumers. Yeah we all know that these companies are in this buisness to make money, but this is rediculous. Nintendo think that they are a gas company and price goudging is cool. I find it disgusting that a "casual freindly" company like Nintendo can go after a casual base and perposly kick them in the balls on the price just because they are not tech savy consumers.
