They did, add 5% to that number (not 1 million yet :( )

But like I said in the other thread... look at the competition Mario is facing now. Compare to the ecosystem of games (especially third party) from now and 2006 - plus all those extra (2 million) DS's available (ds had two holidays by then)

Mario is doing great, imo. It's just not going to be NSMB


Wait wait... they announced the digital sales?! WHERE?! O_o

And yeah as you said, it will do really well, probably will manage 4 mil+ which is still amazing for a Mario game. But like the drop from Pokemon R/B to G/S and the other gens, NSMB was the first 2D MArio game in over 15 years which is why it had so much hype. I still expect it to sell 20 mil+ WW
