Paper Mario has a huge cult following. I don't think there's anything gimmicky/childish about it all, you're just trolling. Besides, Paper Mario isn't a system mover at all, it's there to please fans of the series and will sell quite nicely. Bottom line: 3DS will have no problem this holiday and Mario and Pokemon will really push sales. The 3DS will be fine. It's the Vita you need to be worried about. |
Whoa, whoa, how did ANYTHING I said constitute trolling? I didn't even comment on Paper Mario itself, just the way the "Sticker Star" subtitles might sound to some people. No need to be so defensive man, I'm not insulting anyone or anything here.
I'm just unsure whether the 3DS's lineup for the rest of the year will really push sales. Obviously evergreens like NSMB2, 3D Land, and Kart will, not to mention the traditonal Nintendo holiday boost. It's going to sell well. I just don't see it doing explosively well like last year because there's nothing like Kart to give it a mega-boost these holidays, and that means less pressure on the Vita. Just so we're clear, I DON'T THINK THE VITA WILL EVEN COME CLOSE TO 3DS SALES, THIS HOLIDAY SEASON OR LIFETIME. All I'm saying is that the Vita might still post good numbers once the games arrive.
