This happens to everyone from time to time. I lost interest at the end of the last generation when I was in college, but my love of gaming was renewed when Halo 3 came out. Before that I lost interest in the 32/63 bit era and then the Dreamcast hit the market and I became hardcore again.
That's the way live is. Don't worry about it. You may think your done with gaming, and you might be, but I think something will pull you back in. Right now I've been playing less games, but Halo 4 looks to put all other games this generation to shame.
