SNES remains my all time favorite console...why? Well, all of my favorite games are on that system. Keep in mind, my top 6 games of all time are:

1 - final Fantasy VI
2 - Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
3 - The Legend of Zelda: a Link to the Past
4 - Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest
5 - Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble
6 - Donkey Kong Country

Then on top of that final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy V, Megaman X, Megaman X-2, Megaman X-3, Super Marioworld, Sim City, Mariokart, and the Super Star Wars series, among many others all in my top 25 list. There are also great SNES games I never played, like Super Metroid, Castlevania IV, Chrono Trigger and Tales of Phantasia. the SNES was my childhood, my first real venture into gaming, and while I had no problem with Sega, it didn't hold a candle to the epicness of SNES.

also, as I look to my left I see my PS3, Wii, Xbox 360...and SNES all hooked up to my TV. Funny thing is, I went from SNES to PS1...not because I wanted to (I really didn't), but because my parents decided that's what we were getting. I was pissed for years until Final Fantasy VII came out and that's when I went officially multiplatform. Looking back at it, I do prefer the PS1...but only for the Final Fantasy games and a few others like Metal Gear Solid. I hated that generation, there were maybe a dozen games from the N64 and PS1 I still play. But I digress, I'm going off track.
