Well, the thing is we can't know until someone tries. Like how the best GC games couldn't be run on Xbox, not necessarily because Xbox was weaker but because of tremendous architectural differences. It could be the same here. Wii U architecture has a lot of potential from what we've heard, but how that translates to being able to run PC games is unknown.
But should not be dismissed out of hand.
