Sony rules out Vita price cut in 2012; says "it's too early"

Where is this rumor coming from that Vita is selling at a loss?

+ on avg 20% marketing and a bit going to manufacturing costs. Vita is a profitable device. Regardless of how bad it is selling right now, it is still positive revenue which would be negated by a price drop.
Sony tried giving gamers something for nothing with PSP and PS3 and it only hurt them, now I guess they are doing it the way the company needs. Don't blame'm.
