As you can see from this thread I was actually considering getting a PS Vita, but I got an iPad instead. Looking back, I'm glad that I did get an iPad! They are fantastic and I never set it down. Besides, I don't have time for a dedicated handheld gaming platform...proper gaming is meant for TV's screens IMO, not tiny handheld screens.

Data Inquiry: What is it that you can do on your iPad that is not available on Vita(or elsewhere for that matter)? How much did you pay for it? Do you have 3/4G service for it as well?

You should choose the second option

The iPad can do literally anything, and the UI is superb. Now that I have it I don't think I'll ever get a dedicated gaming handheld ever again. The apps in the app store are simple and fun, and I honestly don't have time to play in-depth games like Uncharted: Golden Abyss and Kid Icarus on the go anyway, so it suits me perfectly. Oh, and I bought it for £500 and it does have 3G.

Oh yeah, and I did choose the second option.

I would more like to know of any specific features you find yourself most often using on your iPad. For instance, my PC. I use it 80% of the time simply for the internet, My PS3 has become 40% Netflix and 55% Gaming, etc.

Personally I always thought the iPad(and the like) was kinda......pointless. To each their own but most people I see using it are only using it for the internet surfing. Others branch out a tad with internet based apps(Facebook,Netflix,Hulu). Which most things many of us could just do on our phone anyway and probably save a lot of money. God knows it's program capabilities are super limited in comparison to a full fledged PC/laptop. Basically it is a large overpriced, less than portable,iPhone hybrid, App Machine. This is my take of them anyway.
