just started the first one as well so I'm interested in opinions as well. As for the second one. While the metacritic is only slightly higher than the original, the user scores for the ps3/360 is currently a 9.2, the highest a game has gotten in a very long time and signifcantly better than the 7.7 user score of the original. I have a feeling this is the case of the game not being very popular or super unique and artistic, so professional reviewers are criticizing it more than they would a blockbuster like halo or an artistic sudo game like journey.
While I would be wary of user scores for exclusive games, indie games, and for games with unpopular publishers (EA/Activison), I think there will be very few troll scores on either spectrum for a game like darksiders 2.
Regardless I'm excited to get this game once I finish the admitingly somewhat repetitive original and when this goes on sale.
