The small sales decline for MW3 I think has more to do with the overall drop in market SW sales rather than the COD series losing popularity. COD is really hurting all other shooters out there, and hurting them bad.

I'm pretty sure Battlefield 3 shattered previous Battlefield games as far as sales go.

Yeah but that's because Battlefield is so awesome.

And if there was anyone to predict a huge success for BF3 here on VGC it was me. I was ridiculed when I declared that BF3 would "do a Modern Warfare" and go on to sell at least 12 million.
