Batman will not run in native 1080p, that I am sure of.
It's exactly like TheShape31 says, a rumor and misunderstanding. Batman and ACIII could be upscaled to 1080p on the Wii U (we will see, but I kinda doubt it) but that's not the same thing as rendered (native) 1080p and obviously not as good looking.
