He is essentially calling all nintendo fans dumb and anyone who buys a Nintendo console not only Fanboys.

as you know he is only saying that because he believes the Wii should of failed and the DS. so he thinks anyone who brought them 2 consoles are stupid so yes i can see how a lot of fans wouldnt be happy with what he said.

Yeah, I was going to mention that.  He's referring to anyone who likes Nintendo products and likes Nintendo.   It also seems to imply that anyone who likes anything Nintendo has to be a fanboy to like it.  It's really not a good thing to say.  I know a lot of people would be up on him as well if he said this about Sony or Microsoft fans.
