best thing to do is just ignore any article related to him off-site, most of the shite he predicts are so predictable its akin to him just constantly being asked what day tomorrow will be by a bunch of idiots, anyone who reads more than 2 of his reports and thinks that the guy isn't absolutely out of his mind with some of his predictions has no idea whats going on in gaming today.
But yeah it's the same as games, support the stuff you like by buying it, as for reports, doomsayers and analysis from this idiot... don't be giving him or sites which pick up his ramblings advertising revenue by reading them, stick to people who actually understand business.
