Yup, I don't disagree, I was just injecting facts to your analysis.
I wouldn't expect the same number maintained, but an interesting question would be was the DS one a launch game? If not, it's understandable to see lower sales since there is higher competition. In other words, in the GBA's sales there were many non castlevania fans. Other question, did the GBA have 3 versions of casltevania, I can't remember.
