Kantor said: Well, it is the weekend. Usually they respond within 24 hours, so that might be a little longer here but you will have a response soon. The important thing is that they actually HELP you, rather than going through a checklist like EA does whereby you run all sorts of virus scans and diagnostics that have nothing to do with your problem. Also, they speak English. Valve customer support is among the best I have seen, and I'm sure they will let you have the deal if it has expired by then. |
But will they un block my alt account that i used to buy the game as a gift to send to my main account??
I didnt bypass any region pricing laws or anything like that as i only made that alt to buy that game cos i couldnt on my main account.
But im still worried they might come up with some excuse about how they dont allow alts or something like that, but ive now already been charged for the game .

Yes, they will. But it doesn't matter once you've received the gift.

No both my alt account or my main account never got the gift yet.
On my alt account i payed for the gift using my credit card (This is why i think they blocked my alt) and the gift said 'pending' after i payed for it and been charged. But then i got that message telling me my alt account was suspended for fraudulent activity and the gift changed from Pending to Failed but i still got charged for it.
So thats why i hope they un block my alt account and change the gift from failed to success so i can still gift it to my main account. If not i will have to wait 7 days to get back my money and i will still have to go down and top up my card again if they make me rebuy it

Ask the credit card company to cancel the payment, or Valve to refund it.
