The Wii got a shot of adrenaline to the heart with DQX, and boy did it need it.

Hopefully, it won't drop off again too steeply and Japan Wii software will get a lift from all those new console owners. (Assuming they're not too busy with DQX)

All the Wii really has left now is the cut to $99 and the holidays. (A few games should still be moderate hits, like Just Dance 4, Epic Mickey 2, and Skylanders Giants)

Only 3.7m left to the big 100 million, can it make it?

Wii did in fact have a nice week selling just shy of 90,000 and beating 360 for the week.  The Olympics also brought a nice week of sales to Mario and Sonic at the London Olympics, placing that game which came out last year back in the top 10 in sales for the week.  In fact, it was a really nice week all around for Nintendo, as games on their systems held 7 out of 10 slots in global software sales for week ending 8/4.
