But they had to deal wiht them because they were the only game in town. Same thing to a lesser extent with SOny. Publishers like to have multiple systems out their because that means they have more leverage, hell this gen alone SOny and MS were tripping over themselves to give money to these guys just to get exclusive DLC and some timed crap. It was like that since the NES days, you'd think they would fix it by the time the PS2 came along, especially when a 3rd, neutral competitor enters the market. I disagree, Oni. You can say things have changed, but you can't say it's because of the dominator effect since that's existed a long time ago and alternatives to it were offered, but they were not taken (especially with the PS2 and the DS).
