While this particular post appears to be from an individual blog site (no advertising, no bylines, no staff listing), it does point to a problem with this form of entertainment -- too many people think "raw power" is the end all and be all for gaming. This despite the fact that the top selling console has never been a vastly superior power console.

It is commonly accepted that Sony and Microsoft will introduce consoles in or around 2013 which are expected to have greater technical specifications that the WiiU. But the Nintendo consoles will have its own advantages (included integrated second-screen, tested motion controls, backward compatibility). So it is shaping up to be another zig vs. zag battle -- but with Nintendo getting the head start this time.

Finally, is it not interesting that when Nintendo decides it must take a loss to move hardware product -- something it generally does not do but that is commonly-accepted behavior for everyone else -- that it is going to fail.

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.
