No, the redesign sold around 190k in 2 days, didn't it? And the normal model sold around 50k for the whole week.

Also, I am not sure what you mean by "PS3 slim did 237k in 4 days". Wasn't it a whole week?

Plus the Slim released in September. the 240k week was just a boost from FF13 and it's sexy White PS3 bundle

But yeah the 3DS redesign is the second best selling redesign in the history of Japan just behind the PSP-2000.. and that was four days worth of sales! (Around 250k if i'm not mistaken).. 

And considering that the XL is not technically an "improvement" or replacement but rather a modification or a "preference", this makes the numbers look all the bit more impressive!
