What about The Last Story? It sure as hell put a lot of strain on the Wii and crossed the line a couple of times.

I found The Last Story interesting. It uses varying level of advanade tech. In some places, the ground is simply shiny. In others the ground reflects the environment and in some it relfect the environment and the characters. It had some decent physics hear and there as well as its refined collision detection system. The animations were very fluid.

The character modals are also extremely detailed. I would place that in the top 3 for most detailed character models on the system. It has some very nice lighting and shadow detail and what appears to be normal mapping, but I can't be certain. It also put large amount of detailed enemeis on screen at once and the environments are destructable here and there.

Overall it is a pretty good demonstration of the systems power. Games like it and Mario Galaxy honestly should have been the stadard that other Wii games were judged by. Not the best, but it used advanced features of the hardware well.
