for all they've said about not wanting to ride the cyclical nature of the video console business, they've done precious little to expand out of it. in japan they do seem to be pretty proactive though, with all these applications for DS they're planning on.
of course, we're all hoping iwata has something BIG up his sleeves.
in video games, is miyamoto holding them back? his deity-like status means if he doesn't like something, it gets shot down, period. i'd rather miyamoto just work on the ideas he loves and not veto ideas he won't be a part of anyway.
the Wii is an epidemic.
