No, it didn't.  All problems of the 3DS are still there, it fixed nothing and just made new problems like crappy sound The people who complained about it not fixing any problems haven't changed their views and many people buying it will probably discover them pretty soon.

@bold. When did anybody say the contrary? We jus said that they finally stopped complaining about it because most of them weren't really interested, hence why when the device is about to launch, they are nowhere bar a few exceptions.

@italics. I doubt those that are buying it didn't realize it was lacking certain features. They are just much more excited about the great improvements they weren't expecting, such as better 3D, better DS game playback, minor but better battery life, better comfort due to rounded edged, better image quality, etc. etc.
