Even with  decent games, it still would have failed. Once again, show me how has Kinect killed the Wii when the sequels to most of its games have flopped so far. That screams gimmick.

The move also failed because it lacked the commercialization and a needed killer app. Even with the commercialization the commercials wrongfully made fun of casuals who are the very people who eat that kind of thing up. All of the motion controls were gimmicks, but the only one capable of seriously playing core games was the move.

No it failed because it was a plain ripoff with extra buttons. You guys praised it becasue you thought it was gonna help, i saw some pretty decent commercials and wow you guys still stick to the lack of commercials excuse lol.

LOL...you guys? Im not on any side here, I just follow the games. I am not a motion control advocate either, but I have used the Move and it IS the most precise peripheral gimmick I've ever used. It forces you to move your body with the wand while the camera tracks you. It has potential beyond the Wii and Kinect. It does what both of the competitions peripherals do and more. Sony has been trying to penetrate the casual market since last gen and the Kinect is basically the more powerful version of what Sony has been working on. Its a better quality tech device, but it was sold to the masses poorly and had a bad selection of games. Anyone who has used it can admit that. Sony dont want the Wii, they saw that the Wii motes give more control, so if you couple that with a powerful camera the amount of control you would have over a 3D space would be unrivaled. They found the answer, but the never capitalized on it. Its as simple as that.

Except theres Wii motion plus which worked as well. Both are 1 and 1 so how is it more precise. I can tell whos side you're on because you are stopping at nothing to talk up a failure. Its a ripoff and thats all it is. Its not hard copying and improving the tech, so why constantly bring up how precise it is when wii motion plus is just as precise. It doesn't have anymore potential than the Wii remote, the difference is a much better software maker is backing the Wii remote. Which is why the wii remote sold and the other didn't.
