Rofl, watching right wing and left wing Americans argue in circles with each other on television and on radio is bad enough. Now I get to see people doing it on a gaming forum using regurgitated rhetoric they heard from their favourite talking heads on Fox or CNN.

Hah, jokes on you! No one watches CNN!

I used to watch CNN ...

CNN has (essentially) committed suicide in the past 12 to 18 months. They spent a couple decades building a brand based on unbiased quality journalism and, while they did have issues with bias, they mostly remained non-partisan; at least compared to MSNBC and Fox. Over the past couple of years a large portion of experienced employees (who generally hid or balanced their biases) have left CNN and been replaced by a bunch of partisan hacks.

Since a large portion of CNN's userbase were people who got their news from multiple sources and were looking for professional and unbiased news from CNN, their massive partisan shift alienated most of their userbase.

That's because the CEO of CNN has been replaced by the CEO of  HLN (Headline News).

Which is basically a more tabloidy MSNBC.

Funny part is...   CNN often had the most viewers.

It happened.... whenever there was a story of National interest.

Essentially Moderates loved CNN... moderates and those who don't watch the news much.

CNN always had the most viewers because it used to be the only game in town, and was also available on just about every single basic cable or satellite package out there, whereas Fox and MSNBC were not available in all homes as not all cable / satellite providers carried them.

After the 2000 election and especially 9/11, Fox rose to prominence because they were the only ones to call the 2000 election correctly, and people started seeing through the bias that CNN had for Democrats and the left-wing in this country all these years (CNN was founded and run by ultra-liberal Ted Turner).

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
