I would rather say: Just like DS wich was expected to pass PS2 but never did, so will Wii never pass PS1.

The DS will easy pass the PS2.

Outdated PS2 numbers though...Sony will also release their quarterly shipments soon enough. PS2 will be 2-2.5m ahead (and it is still selling).

Isn't the DS still selling...more...though? It may only be selling between 35-40k per week, but I doubt the PS2 is selling more than 10k per week. So if it maintains that gap, even if it is 2.5mil ahead, it should outsell it late next year.
