Which do you prefer The Joker or Bane as a villain in The Dark Knight series

at the end of the movie bane was killed like a dog like he meant nothing...i didnt feel like he was the main villain rather the main villain in this movie was batman for himself

How he died really just showed that he was human like the rest of us, only a lot scarier and more intimidating than most.

he even cried..bane doesnt come even close to the joker. i feel that bane was just a poor guy with muscles and an old batman beats him.. I feel sorry for him.

Well, he did totally execute his plan and beat Batman.  Joker wanted to show that people were evil but he never got the chance.  Bane (and Talia) robbed Batman of all of his money, broke his body, took over Gotham City, showed that people were animals, imprisoned the entire police force, killed the mayor, stole Batman's tech, and had him raped in prison.  And (depending on who you ask)Bane may have killed Batman.

Bane died thanks to an assist from Catwoman (though Bane had an assist from Talia Al Ghul) but for all intents and purposes, Batman lost.  Even if Batman retired and is still alive, who knows how many people died when the bridges exploded, during the occupation of Gotham City, and from the fallout of a neutron bomb explosion.  And there's like 10,000 bad guys running around the city with no Batman to stop them.

For all intents and purposes, old Batman blew it.  

well it was all talias plan as far as i know and yes bane beats batman the first time because he was a wreck but the second time it was the other way around and talia actualy saved bane as you said.

 

and the plan was very well done but still they failed to destroy gotham and thats what its all about rigth ?

I fail to see a complete winner here but i still go not just with the bat but also with gordon and catwoman all of them saved the day
