ZombiU isn't an FPS. It's a survival horror with both first and third person perspectives. Of course, if you're one of the Dudebro CoD crowd you won't like it anyway...no aim assist, no auto-regenerating health. It'll probably be far too difficult for you to finish.

You've also got to take into account that Nintendo have surprisingly been forward thinking with their hardware and architecture choice. All 3 consoles next gen will be architecturally similar and each of the GPGPUs will have the same feature sets meaning that games will be easily portable to and from the U and PS4/720. Surprisingly the Wii's lack of power wasn't the main reason for the lack of big third party multiplatform games, it was mostly down to the GPU (thanks to their insistence of bringing Gamecube backwards compatibility) having a nonstandard rendering pipeline. The U won't have this problem.

You're going to end up getting a next gen console that's 3 or 4 times more powerfult than the 360, a console that whilst won't be as powerful as the PS4 and 720 will be in the same sort of ballpark (think PS2 (U) - Gamecube (PS4) - Xbox (720)) and the console with the best quality first party titles.

Personally I think it's going to be worth buying a U for ZombiU alone. It really does look like the dog's bollocks.
