| Troll_Whisperer said: I'll solve the mistery once and for all! About the software, VGC is known to have undertracked PS3 SW, probably because much of it is sold in regions that are hard to track. Also, when there's no big releases, the SW sales are more spread across many different tiles that sell a few thousand units, so you won't necessarily see the results of those PS3 purchases in the top 10. As long as SW sales for the week remain larger than HW sales it's not that odd. |
That gives clues.
About the other two declining faster that doesn't explain the fact that with few big games the system is still doing fantastic, however maybe the 360 market is saturated. Your other points are more solid (games spread more widely). However that also applies to the 360. As for convincing reasons, I think the price reason mentioned by withdreday (and you mention the cut here) and the points mentioned by theshape are pretty convincing.
@heavenly_king. Possibly too. Mentioned by the shape too :)
Has anyone mentioned Move, is that selling these days?
By a year longer out, do you mean that the PS3 is in a higher curve than the 360 in Europe right now due to a 1-year lag against its competitor?
