That's pretty old news. People noticed that in the trailer for the movie before it even came out. It turned out to be just a little joke by the FX team.
As for the final name of the next Xbox. I think it won't have a number. Maybe something like Xbox Infinity, or Xbox MC for media center. If it does have a number it would be Xbox 8 to identify with Windows 8 integration. But I don't expect that.
I also don't expect the next Playstation to have a number either. Apparently the number four in Japan sounds a lot like the word for death and is consider unlucky. Kind of the way the number 13 is unlucky in the west. Even a lot of building in Japan skip the 4rth floor just like some in America skip the 13th. I'm thinking PS Core. It sounds cool and in English it almost even sounds like four.
