Seriously, graphics aren't that big of a deal. They definitely play a role in attracting someone to a game, but the difference is becoming less and less noticeable. You really can't say there's really that much more room for the graphics department. People who are wowed by the upcoming graphics compared to now are amazed because they are analyzing the graphics more than the normal person. You wouldn't even have to analyze the graphics to tell the difference from previous generations. I would say game physics and AI are where we'll see most of the bigger differences now that graphics have become so close to capping out.
