Well, to be fair it's far more accurate than saying that about Sony. It all comes from their culture (Sony's). Microsoft non-existent presence in Japan isn't a coincidence. If we people in the US had the same high standards of business and personal ethics, Microsoft would be out of the console market in the US too. But, this society honestly is f**ked up.

And Apple would be completely out of business as well, but that's not the case, is it?

The reason for M$'s non-existent presence in Japan is because they are an American company, and Japanese consumers are generally very xenophobic when it comes to purchasing goods made from foreign companies.  It's got nothing to do with M$'s perceived business practices.

And let's be real here... where do you think most of the parts and components for PS3 are manufactured?  Same as where the stuff for not only 360 is made, but Apple too... China.  In fact, the same company in charge of manufacturing and distributing Apple products is the same one that is partly doing so for the PS3... Foxconn.  Remember them?  Being investigated for poor working conditions in their plants and such?

Such high standards of business and personal ethics right there.
