The show's merchandise was probably really lagging and the time skip was done to add more characters as you said. I guess they figured with more characters they'd get more sales with merchandising. But I think it screwed the show over in the long run. I personally think the show would have been cancelled already had they not needed something to fill in the "DC Hour". |
yeah, the supposed season finale didn't even fell like a season finale, I hope the show doesn't get cancelled as it seems to be the spiritual successor to Teen Titans; which was a really good show(american based heroes with a j-rock vibe) and I really don't know why that show was cancelled. YJ has the potential to be good they just need to iron out the many wrinkles they threw in as the first season was great.
