Better name recognition with Forza. Good name recognition is really nice when trying to market something. 


It appears more like milking. And Forza is not that huge.

Guys, Project Gotham Racing gets it's name from the cities it takes place in just like it's predecessor Metropolis Street Racer.

Forza Horizon takes place out on the open road in Colorado. It has the Forza name because it uses the Forza physics system as well as graphics engine. It's a spin off like Halo 3 ODST.
