The Xenoblade wiki needs a lot of its facts cross-checked, because the stub for Hode Plank only mentions Scout Hodes, which are comparatively rare, but the Colony 6 page mentions Hyle Hodes, which are somewhat more common, to get that part. I also had the good fortune for it to actually rain in-game today, and so caught my light rain element. Between those two, i was able to make significant advancements in Colony 6, and have found several pockets of enemies that should be good for training.

You don't have to wait for it to rain. Just keep changing the time and you'll get rain pretty fast.

I tried that, after setting time ahead for like two in-game weeks and getting squat, i figured i would just wait.

Try just moving it forward a few hours at a time. It WILL change weather, if it's supposed to rain.
