Yes, because you don't think after having Sony supply the audio chips for the SNES and them co-developing this CD hybrid that they weren't in the talks about what the deal would be.
No they didn't talk about it at all, and Sony simply put in fine-print that they would be getting rights to ALL of Nintendo's intellectual properties sold on the Playstation.
Of course Nintendo walked out are you kidding?
